Assessing Progress on Ocean and Climate Action: 2022-2023
As the work to prepare for a successful 2023 UN Climate Change Conference gathers momentum, we’re thrilled to announce the official launch of the latest Roadmap to Oceans and Climate Action (ROCA) Initiative report.
For the first time, the ROCA report explicitly includes a dedicated communications section on “Public engagement and outreach: The role of communications in ocean and climate action“, acknowledging the power of effective messaging in driving meaningful action.
The report will be showcased during the COP28 Virtual Ocean Pavilion Preview Event on November 22 at 16:00 GST. It’s an opportunity to highlight the pivotal role of communications in driving change and fostering a deeper understanding of the challenges and solutions in ocean and climate initiatives.
